Settings is in the menu and under the avatar at the top right. Pick a section on the left (in the list at the top on a phone):
- Account and security: the password, the PIN, the people of the household, your devices, and adding a device (A new phone or computer).
- Demo: open the sample household, or reset it (Try the demo).
- Backup and Document purge: copies to a folder you pick, and the old imported files (Backups).
- Warning defaults: how long before each kind of item warns you (Warnings and reminders).
- Setup questions and What you track: the setup wizard again, and the areas in the menu.
- Legacy handoff: who gets a copy of your records (Legacy handoff).
- Language: English or French. Amounts and dates are written the way they are in that language.
- Appearance: light or dark screens on this device. Automatic follows your phone or computer.
- Security: the Hide button and copied account numbers (Privacy and security).
- Usage counts: share anonymous counts of what is used. Off until you turn it on.
- Currency: your currency and the Bank of Canada exchange rates.
- Budget categories, Your data (Export all my data) and Help and legal (privacy policy and terms).
On a computer, App updates. On a phone, Alerts on this phone, and on Android Privacy on this phone.
