Sharing, devices and safety

Privacy and security

Everything you enter is end-to-end encrypted on your devices before it reaches our server in Beauharnois, Québec: nobody at Indivia can read it. Nothing is sold or shared with anyone you haven’t chosen.

The database on each device is encrypted, with a key kept in the system’s key store. Each device has its own PIN; the app locks when it opens and after 15 minutes without use, and too many wrong PINs erase the key and warn you by email.

An item can be made private: the rest of your household doesn’t see it. On Android, Settings, Privacy on this phone, blocks screenshots and screen recordings of the app.

Your sign-in is described in Your account and sign-in; the Help and legal section of Settings has the privacy policy and the terms.

Names in bold are the pages, tabs and buttons as the app shows them.

Still a question? Write to support@indivia.app. Your message goes straight to the people who make the app.
