Signing in uses your email, a password and a second step: a code from an authenticator app, or a passkey (Face ID, a fingerprint or Windows Hello). Keep your recovery codes somewhere safe: each one replaces a code once.
The avatar at the top right opens Your profile, Settings, Help, Lock (asks for your PIN, you stay signed in) and Sign out.
Your profile: your name, a new authenticator app, new recovery codes, passkeys, the sign-in history and deleting your account. News and offers is an optional box, unticked: tick it and confirm from the email to get them; untick it, or use the link in any of those emails, to stop at once.
Settings, Account and security: change the password or the PIN, the people of the household, and Your devices, where you can sign out a lost phone. A device not used for 90 days is signed out.
Names in bold are the pages, tabs and buttons as the app shows them.
